Lahore:Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is committed to providing the best possible medical treatment for brave personnel injured in the line of duty. As part of this initiative, an additional amount of 3.3 million rupees has been released to cover the medical expenses of injured personnel from Lahore and various other districts. Punjab Police spokesperson while sharing details, said that injured ASI Shafqat Nawaz has been granted Rs. 1.5 million for medical expenses. Injured Constables Arshad Hussain and Aqib Nazar have each been provided with Rs. 500,000 for medical treatment. Injured Constables Tahir Ijaz and Munir Ahmed have been granted Rs. 200,000 each for medical expenses. Injured Inspector Mubashir Maqsood, ASI Muhammad Saleem, and injured Constables Asim Javed and Tariq Yaqoob have each been allocated Rs. 100,000 for medical treatment. The Compensation Award Committee, chaired by Additional IG Welfare Imran Arshad, approved the release of the funds. Dr. Usman Anwar said that the best medical care and swift rehabilitation of police heroes is a top priority. No effort will be spared in ensuring excellent health welfare for the brave personnel.
