IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar: Committed to the Best Medical Treatment for Police Employees’ Special Children

Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, has released an additional Rs. 3.5 million for the treatment of police employees and their families. While sharing the details, the spokesperson of Punjab Police shared that retired DSP Ghazanfar Abbas has been issued Rs. 1 million funds for liver cancer treatment, while Driver Constable Muhammad Sarfraz has been given Rs. 500,000 for medical treatment. Similarly, Senior Clerk Shazia Rafiq has been issued Rs. 300,000 funds for major surgery and Constable Imtiaz Ahmed has been given Rs. 300,000 for medical treatment. The spokesperson further shared that Head Constable Ghulam Ali and retired Constable Muhammad Iqbal have been given Rs. 250,000 each for medical treatment. He further added that the widow of late Office Superintendent Humayun Rafiq and Constable Ijaz Rafi have been issued Rs. 200,000 each for medical treatment, while ASI Nasir Abbas and Constable Aleem Shehzad have been given Rs. 100,000 each under the head of medical treatment. Likewise, a total of Rs. 300,000 has been given for the treatment of DSP Inayat Ullah, Head Constable Haroon Rasheed, Constables Saif Ali, and Technical Officer Qasim Ali. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar approved the disbursement of funds after scrutiny by the Medical Financial Assistance Committee. Dr. Usman Anwar said that under MOUs with various institutions, employees are also being provided with the best medical treatment facilities.
