Punjab Police intelligence-based operations against Kacha criminals in Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan

Rahim Yar Khan:Punjab Police’s operations against Kacha criminals are ongoing, in continuation of these efforts, Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan Police conducted two successful intelligence-based operations, safely recovering two abducted citizens and a 3-year-old child who were kidnapped through a honey trap.

According to the Punjab Police spokesperson, Rajanpur Police carried out an intelligence-based operation against Kacha criminals and safely recovered two abducted citizens, Barkat Ali and Sajid Hussain, who had been kidnapped a few days ago through a honey trap from the jurisdiction of Police Station Shahwali. It is noteworthy that the case of the abduction was registered at Police Station Shahwali by Rajanpur Police against Kacha criminals. Shahwali Police conducted a raid on the hideouts of the abductors in the Kacha area. A heavy exchange of gunfire took place between Rajanpur Police and the Kacha criminals, forcing the criminals to flee, leaving the abductees behind.

Similarly, Punjab Police Rahim Yar Khan, under the leadership of DPO Irfan Ali Samo, carried out a successful intelligence-based targeted operation against Kacha criminals. When the police raided to safely recover the 3-year-old abducted child, Zain, the Kacha criminals opened fire on the police. During the exchange of fire, the suspects retreated and fled. DPO Rahim Yar Khan Irfan Ali Samo, ASP Inam Ullah, and police officials took the recovered child Zain to his home.

Punjab Police spokesperson said that all three abductees were safely recovered and handed over to their families. The families and local residents offered prayers for the police and chanted slogans in favor of Punjab Police. DPO Rajanpur Farooq Amjad and DPO Rahim Yar Khan Irfan Ali Samo said the culprits would be arrested soon and brought to justice. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the DPOs of Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan and their teams on the recovery of the two citizens and the minor child.
