ISLAMABAD:Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi on Sunday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior journalist Mazhar Sheikh.A public relations officer told APP that the IG Rizvi said that the late Mazhar Sheikh’s contributions to the field of journalism would always be remembered with respect and admiration.IG Rizvi expressed heartfelt sympathy with the bereaved family and said, “I stand with the grieving family in this hour of sorrow.”IG Rizvi prayed to Almighty Allah to elevate the ranks of the departed soul and grant patience and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
