Islamabad :The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has uncovered a major case of financial misconduct involving the daughter of a veteran politician, who allegedly held two government jobs simultaneously and received salaries from both.According to the FIA’s Anti-Corruption Circle in Peshawar, Hajra Sarwar, daughter of influential politician Ghulam Sarwar Khan, was serving as Deputy Director at the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees (CAR) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while also serving as a coach for the Pakistan women’s cricket team. FIA officials further revealed that she reportedly held a coaching position for Iran’s cricket team as well.Investigators found that Sarwar received salaries from both CAR and the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), in clear violation of government service rules. Official documents from CAR and evidence from the PCB website confirmed that she benefited financially from both positions between 2001 and 2008, and continued to do so until 2017.
