ISLAMABAD,:Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid Friday strongly condemned the recent Israeli attack on Iran, calling it a deplorable act that has drawn global condemnation.“The attack on Iran is a reprehensible act and must be condemned at the international level,” stated Senator Rubina Khalid.Emphasizing the need to de-escalate tensions, she said, “We call for an immediate reduction in hostilities and urge all parties to seek a peaceful resolution, prioritizing the safety of innocent civilians.”Expressing solidarity with the Iranian people, she added, “Our thoughts are with the people of Iran during this difficult time.”Senator Rubina Khalid stressed the importance of diplomacy in averting further escalation, saying, “We underscore the need for diplomatic dialogue to prevent further conflict.”“We advocate for calm, restraint, and accountability,” she emphasized.She further called on the international community to stand united in supporting a peaceful resolution to ensure regional stability and security.
