ISLAMABAD:Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, lauded the outstanding performance of the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police in 2025 for swiftly solving 15 high-profile cases of serious nature, including those involving Sardar Faheem, Sana Yousaf, and Ishtiaq Shah.A police spokesperson told APP that a ceremony was held in honour of the officers and personnel who played a key role in resolving these cases with professionalism and dedication.Speaking on the occasion, IG Rizvi said the cases were brought to a successful conclusion in a short span of time due to the commitment and competence of the investigating teams.IGP Rizvi also held a meeting with the officers involved and awarded them certificates of appreciation and cash rewards.He said those who perform their duties with such excellence deserve recognition and praise.
“Our primary responsibility is to protect the lives and property of citizens,” he emphasized, urging all officers to continue serving with integrity, vigilance, and commitment.
