KARACHI : A Serene Air flight from Jeddah to Lahore made an emergency landing at Karachi Airport after the aircraft developed a sudden technical fault.According to aviation sources, the pilot contacted Karachi Air Traffic Control and requested permission for an emergency landing when he noticed the issue.The captain managed to land the plane safely, with more than 200 passengers onboard, most of them Umrah pilgrims.Sources revealed that upon inspection, fuel leakage was detected in the aircraft. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) inspectors have launched an inquiry, while Serene Air engineers have already rolled up their sleeves to carry out necessary repairs.
