MULTAN (DL News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday criticised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for wasting four years in repeating words “thieves and dacoits” and did nothing for the welfare of the masses.

The prime minister was speaking to the media after inspecting the under-construction Nishtar Hospital 2 here and attending a briefing on the project.

He claimed that the PTI chairman was brought into power. The previous government did not release funds for construction and improvement of the hospital which is highly condemnable.

The PTI remained engaged in vindictive politics and did nothing for the betterment of ailing humanity. There should not be political point scoring the projects of public interest, he added.

He was all praise for the Nishtar Hospital staff for their diligent service to the people of Multan.

The prime minister said during the briefing he was informed that equipment for the hospital have been imported and the project would be complete by September-end.

Prime Minister Shehbaz praised the caretaker Punjab chief minister for his tireless service for the people of the province.

Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman were present on the occasion.
