ISLAMABAD:The additional DG will head the North, Central and South regions. Earlier, there were North and South regions in the FIA. Now the North Region will cover Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, Peshawar and Kohat zones; the Central Region Lahore, Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Multan zones, while the South Region will cover Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur and Balochistan zones.Two new zones have also been set up in the Agency, namely Gilgit-Baltistan and Sukkur zones.The offices of the Gilgit-Baltistan and Sukkur zones will be built in Gilgit and Sukkur, respectively.
