Promotion Process Continues Uninterrupted in Punjab Police

Lahore:On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, the process of promotions in Punjab Police continues without interruption. In continuation of this process, 07 Senior Scale Stenographers have been promoted to the post of Private Secretary, and AIG Admin Asad Ijaz Malhi has issued the promotion notification. The spokesperson of Punjab Police said that officers meeting the criteria of merit and rules and regulations have been promoted to the post of Private Secretary. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar congratulated the promoted officers and said that over the past two years, a record number of more than 26,000 officers and personnel have been promoted. The process of promotions will continue on the basis of performance, seniority, competence, and merit. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that departmental promotion is an important part of every officer’s career and reflects an increase in responsibilities. Those promoted include Ghulam Fareed, Shabbir Ahmed, Irshad Muhammad, Naeem Shafiq, Nazakat Ali, Salamat Ali, and Muhammad Akram.
