RAWALPINDI:The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), conducting 6 operations across the country, recovered as many as 150 kilograms of drugs worth Rs 4.2 million and arrested 4 suspects, including a woman, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman on Monday.He informed that 7.320 kg of ice wrapped in clothes was recovered from a parcel bound for Saudi Arabia at the cargo shed of Jinnah International Airport.As many as 12 kg of hashish was recovered from a rickshaw near Haro Toll Plaza, Attock and the accused was arrested.Similarly,1 kg of ice and 1 kg of suspicious chemical material were recovered from a vehicle in the parking area of Faisal Masjid, Islamabad and two accused, including a woman, were arrested on the spot.As much as 200 grams of hashish was recovered from the possession of an accused near Fawara Chowk, Dera Ismail Khan.During another operation,120 kg of cannabis was recovered from a hashish manufacturing factory in the desert area of Kutch Sardar District, Loralai.As much as 9.800 kg of hashish was recovered from bushes near Korangi, Karachi.Cases have been registered against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act, and further investigations are underway.
