ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 10 criminals in separate actions and recovered narcotics and illegal weapons during an ongoing crackdown across the federal capital.An official told APP on Friday that police teams from Margalla, Shalimar, Noon, Koral, and Bhara Kahu police stations apprehended seven accused and seized 3,814 grams of heroin, a huge quantity of ice, and three pistols with ammunition from their possession. Cases have been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway.He said that during a special campaign to apprehend proclaimed offenders and absconders, another three criminals were also arrested.Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Jawad Tariq said Islamabad Police was actively working to ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property. He added that no one would be allowed to disturb peace in the federal capital and that the safety and security of citizens remained the top priority of ICT Police.
