KOHAT:A free medical camp was organized in Nakband village, Gumbat, Tehsil Lachi, by Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) Kohat and National Commission for Human Development (NCHD) Kohat, the local correspondent of APP reported this from Kohat on Friday.
According to the details, the camp aimed to provide free medical examination, consultation, and medicines to the residents of the remote area, who lack access to basic medical facilities. Hundreds of patients, including women, children, and the elderly, received free medical care from expert doctors, nurses, and medical staff.On this occasion, the residents of Nakband village highly appreciated this initiative, thanking OGDCL and NCHD for bringing medical services to their doorstep. They expressed their gratitude, stating that such medical camps are a blessing for them, given their remote location and limited access to healthcare facilities.Representatives of OGDCL and NCHD assured that such welfare projects will continue in the future, focusing on meeting the basic needs of the local population. This initiative is part of OGDCL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy, which aims to improve various social sectors and promote community development.
