Lahore:Under the arrangements of the National Police Academy, the under-training DSPs of Sindh Police participating in the Specialized Training Course visited the Central Police Office Lahore. On this occasion, Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met the officers and inquired about their training and field experiences.IG Punjab was briefed by the officers regarding the experiences and observations gained during the training, while various administrative and operational aspects were also discussed during the meeting. The officers were given awareness about the working of different branches including Welfare, Discipline, Finance, Operations, and Investigation. IG Punjab said that for young police officers, gaining experience in office management and administration along with fieldwork is extremely important so that they can perform effectively in various stages of leadership. IG Punjab said that these under-training officers of Sindh Police, after completion of their training, will be able to demonstrate outstanding performance in their professional careers. He further said that during the training, the officers have been provided with practical awareness and skills regarding all aspects of urban and rural policing. IG Punjab emphasized that through the effective use of modern technology, crime prevention, improvement in public service delivery, and enhancement of overall police performance can be achieved. The under-training officers thanked IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and termed the guidance provided by Punjab Police as a valuable asset for themselves.
