RAWALPINDI:City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani on Monday honoured Constable Zargham Haider of the Rawalpindi Police by awarding him a certificate of appreciation and a cash prize for his outstanding performance in national sports competitions.According to a police spokesman, Constable Zargham Haider won two gold medals in national martial arts events and another gold in the Police Inter-Region Boxing Championship. The competitions were held in Karachi under the Sindh Olympic Games and in Farooqabad.The CPO also pinned a black belt badge on the constable and praised his achievements, saying that his success had brought pride to the Rawalpindi Police.He added that, in line with the vision of the Inspector General of Police, Punjab, all possible steps were being taken to provide the best opportunities and facilities for police personnel to excel in sports.
