RAWALPINDI:The Rawalpindi Police on Thursday enhanced security measures across all courts in the district, including the Lahore High Court Rawalpindi Bench, the Judicial Complex and Tehsil courts.City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani had issued directives to tighten security around sensitive government and judicial installations in the wake of recent terrorist incidents at Cadet College Wana and the Islamabad Judicial Complex.According to a police spokesman, senior officers have been assigned to monitor and brief duty personnel point-wise to ensure alertness and coordination under a comprehensive security plan.CPO Hamdani directed that all available resources be utilised to maintain foolproof security for the courts and safeguard citizens’ lives and property.He reaffirmed the police’s resolve to uphold law and order and ensure the safety of all vital installations in the district.
