ISLAMABAD:Senior Director of Pakistan Television (PTV), Khawaja Salahuddin on Friday congratulated Federal Secretary Information and Broadcasting, Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil, in his office on assuming the charge.Khawaja Salahuddin expressed his best wishes and thanking him for his dedication to public service, said a press release. Controllers of Engineering at PTV, Azhar Hassan Khan, Sheikh Abdul Jabbar, and Faisal Hayat Khan were also present on this occasion.He said that Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil, based on his professional skills and experience, will play a key role in further enhancing the ministry’s progress and public coordination.Ashfaq Ahmed Khalil has previously served as Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and has held important positions such as Director General at the Press Information Department Peshawar and Press Counsellor at the Pakistan Embassy in Tokyo, Japan.Khawaja Salahuddin said that the new appointment will ensure continuity at the administrative and policy levels in the ministry and will make government coordination more effective.
