SUKKUR:Inspector General of Sindh Police, Ghulam Nabi Memon, attended the “Police Darbar” held at the Sukkur IBA University Auditorium.The event was attended by DIG Sukkur, Commissioner Sukkur, SSPs, and other officials from provincial and federal agencies.A documentary film showcasing the bravery and services of martyred police officers and the achievements of Sukkur Police in maintaining law and order was presented.The event also featured cultural performances and poems highlighting the successes of Sindh Police.DIG Sukkur praised IG Sindh’s vision, stating that it has given a new direction to Sindh Police. IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon thanked the government and citizens for their support, saying that the police have made significant progress in combating crime, including kidnappings for ransom.IG Sindh appreciated the efforts of Sukkur Police, saying that they have done an excellent job in tackling crime despite challenges.He also thanked Rangers, district administration, and intelligence agencies for their support.The event concluded with the distribution of appreciation certificates to police officers and teams for their outstanding work. IG Sindh was presented with a garland and a memento by the DIG Sukkur and SSPs.The event ended with a grand dinner, where IG Sindh and other police officials dined together. IG Sindh also paid a visit to the grave of renowned educationist Professor Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui.
