ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa on Friday met Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi, Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Tourism Affairs Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan, office-bearers of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI), representatives of traders’ associations and senior officials to discuss longstanding issues faced by the business community in the capital.Officials agreed to establish a structured mechanism for coordination with traders and industrialists.

A working group will be constituted to take up the “legitimate demands” of ICCI, traders, and industry representatives. Monthly follow-up meetings—scheduled for the first week of every month—will review progress on pending matters.

Randhawa said the CDA was committed to improving civic and business-related services in Islamabad and would maintain continuous communication with market stakeholders.
