ISLAMABAD: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Qazi Ali Raza on Friday visited various duty points across the federal capital to review security arrangements and meet police officers and personnel deployed on duty.An official told APP that the visit was carried out in line with the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, who has instructed that foolproof security measures be ensured throughout the city.
During the visit, SSP Qazi inspected checking points and interacted with officers and jawans on duty. He directed the staff to further strengthen security measures and ensure that checking at all points remains effective, purposeful and uninterrupted.He urged officers to stay fully alert at all times, thoroughly check suspicious persons and vehicles, and immediately report any unusual activity to the concerned authorities. He also instructed that citizens be treated with courtesy and respect so that public trust in the police continues to strengthen.The SSP reiterated that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the top priority of Islamabad Capital Territory Police and that all security steps are being implemented with this objective in view.
