ISLAMABAD:Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police arrested 15 suspects and seized narcotics and illegal weapons during multiple operations carried out across the federal capital.An official told APP on Wednesday that police teams from Margalla, Karachi Company, Ramna, Tarnol, Sabzi Mandi, Khanna, Lohi Bher and Bhara Kahu police stations arrested 11 accused, recovering 737 grams of ice, 312 grams of heroin, three pistols and two rifles with ammunition.He added that during a special campaign launched to arrest proclaimed offenders and court absconders, four wanted criminals were also apprehended. Cases have been registered against all arrested individuals, and further investigation is underway.SSP Operations Qazi Ali Raza stated that the ICT Police are fully committed to ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property in the federal capital. No one will be allowed to disturb the peace of the city, he said, adding that protecting citizens remains the top priority.
