Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, met police employees and their family members at the Central Police Office, Lahore. The IG Punjab listened to the issues raised by the personnel and issued instructions to the relevant officers for their prompt resolution. According to details, upon the request for the promotion of five Sub-Inspectors, the IG Punjab directed the Additional IG Punjab to provide relief. Regarding the medical and financial assistance request of Constable Khaleel Hussain, the DIG Welfare and Finance was instructed to provide immediate relief. Similarly, on Constable Shahid Ijaz’s transfer request, the DIG Establishment-II was directed to facilitate the matter. The request for the reinstatement of former Constable Qasim Hayat was also forwarded to the DIG Establishment-II with directions to provide appropriate relief. Furthermore, on the request for legal action submitted by the brother of the late ASI Muhammad Ismail, the IG Punjab instructed the DPO Bahawalnagar to take immediate action. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar also issued directives on other applications related to discipline, administration, promotions, and welfare.
