ISLAMABAD:Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting six operations across the country recovered over 7.5 kg drugs worth more than Rs 2.1 million and arrested five accused.According to an ANF spokesman, in an operation at a courier office in Chaklala, Rawalpindi, six grams cocaine was recovered from a parcel sent from the UK.In another operation at a courier office in Chaklala, Rawalpindi, 6 grams weed was also recovered from a parcel sent from the UK.Near Dera Ismail Khan, Bhakkar Road, 2.4 kgs hashish was seized from the possession of an accused.In Lahore, 1 kg ice drug and 600 grams weed were recovered from a vehicle and 2 suspects were apprehended during the operation.In Garden Town, Lahore, 35 grams weed was recovered from a vehicle and an accused was arrested.In sixth operation conducted near Mandra Toll Plaza, Rawalpindi, 2 kgs ice and 1.5 kg suspicious powder were seized and a motorcyclist was arrested.Separate cases have been registered against the accused under the CNSA-1997.
