ISLAMABAD:Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq held an Orderly Room at his office  to address welfare, service and administrative issues faced by police officers.A police spokesperson told dateline on Monday that officers posted in the Operations Division presented both departmental and personal matters during the session. Several issues were resolved on the spot, while the DIG issued directions to senior officers for the immediate resolution of remaining matters.DIG  Tariq said the purpose of holding the Orderly Room was to ensure that police officers’ concerns are addressed on priority. He emphasised that effective welfare measures for the force will continue without interruption.He said his office doors are always open for officers who face any problem, adding that a motivated, supported and well-facilitated police force is essential for maintaining peace in the federal capital.“We all have a shared responsibility to keep this city safe, and the welfare of our officers and timely resolution of their issues is my top priority,” DIG Tariq added.
