More than Rs. 431.753 million spent this year on the welfare of police force and their families. Spokesperson Punjab Police

Lahore:Punjab Police have regularly continued measures for the best welfare of Police force and their families, in this regard Punjab Police has spent a total amount of more than Rs. 431.753 million during the current year on the welfare and well-being of the police force and their families. Punjab Police Spokesperson while sharing details, said that more than Rs. 151.0 million has been disbursed under educational scholarships for the children of police employees. More than Rs. 108.1 million has been provided to the daughters of police employees in the form of wedding gifts. Similarly, more than Rs. 49.5 million has been issued to assist police employees and their families with medical treatment facilities, while more than Rs. 61.0 million has been paid to police employees under retirement grants. Punjab Police Spokesperson further said that more than Rs. 44.126 million has been provided to the families of police employees under subsistence allowance. An amount of Rs. 14.55 million has been given to the families of the force under funeral expenses, while more than Rs. 3.413 million has been issued to the police force as immediate financial assistance. IG Punjab Abdul Kareem said that from the income generated through the Police Welfare Fund and other welfare sources, the process of addressing the difficulties of employees and their families will continue, and welfare measures are being made more effective so that every possible facility can be provided to the force.
