LAHORE: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Abdul Kareem on Tuesday met with police employees at the Central Police Office and listened to their concerns regarding promotions, seniority, welfare and administrative matters.According to police spokesperson, on the request for financial assistance by Lady Head Constable Uzma Khanum, IGP Punjab directed the Additional IG Welfare and Finance to provide relief. On the transfer request of Stenographer Azhar Shafiq, instructions were issued to the Additional IG Punjab to place the matter under consideration.Similarly, on the request of retired Sub-Inspector Malik Ashraf, SSP Operations Lahore was directed to take necessary action.IGP Abdul Kareem said that the welfare of the police force is his top priority and that timely resolution of issues faced by employees will be ensured.
