ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA), Dr Ghulam Ali Mallah, on Saturday delivered a compelling address on the primacy of education, character formation and parental stewardship at the annual prize distribution ceremony of a private school held at Radio Pakistan Auditorium Rawalpindi.The prestigious ceremony brought together a large gathering of students, parents and educators to honour scholastic distinction and co curricular brilliance, while offering a vibrant platform for young minds to exhibit their artistic flair and intellectual confidence.Conceived as a celebration of achievement and self expression, the event sought to inspire excellence, nurture latent talent and instil the confidence required to engage meaningfully with the world.In his keynote remarks, Dr Mallah eloquently underscored that education must transcend rote learning, advocating instead for a value driven paradigm rooted in integrity, discipline and enlightened citizenship.He emphasized that parents remain indispensable partners in shaping the moral and intellectual compass of the younger generation.PEIRA Chief also paid glowing tribute to the students for their remarkable performances and lauded the school management for fostering an enabling environment, while particularly acknowledging the tireless dedication of teachers as the backbone of any meaningful educational endeavour.School principal Mrs Sadia Irfan, a seasoned educationist with over two decades of distinguished service across Pakistan and international development initiatives, presented a comprehensive overview of the institution’s milestones and its forward looking vision.
