Islamabad :IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi met with DIG Motorway Police Imran Shahid,,According to the details, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi met with DIG Motorway Police Imran Shahid. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on improving traffic management, security matters, and mutual coordination.On this occasion, it was agreed that a joint strategy would be adopted to improve traffic flow on inter-district and inter-provincial highways, prevent accidents, and provide citizens with a safe travel environment.Furthermore, emphasis was placed on adopting integrated measures for the use of modern technology, improving information-sharing systems, and ensuring prompt response in emergency situations.Later, IG Islamabad held a meeting with Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Islamabad Muhammad Sarfraz Virk. He reviewed in detail the measures to further improve the traffic system, as well as the facilities being provided to citizens at licensing offices and service centers.IG Islamabad directed the CTO Islamabad to introduce modern traffic management systems to reduce traffic pressure, ensure effective planning to maintain smooth traffic flow on major roads, and make the licensing process more transparent, simple, and efficient.He also stressed the importance of launching awareness campaigns to guide citizens and taking indiscriminate action against violations. Additionally, IG Islamabad declared public service delivery as the top priority and issued clear directions regarding efficient use of resources, better deployment of staff, and provision of modern facilities to maximize convenience for citizens.Moreover, IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, in a meeting with Director ITP FM 92.4 Aisha Jamil, reviewed the performance of ITP FM. He issued directives to further accelerate awareness seminars being conducted in educational institutions by the education wing and initiatives promoting community-friendly policing.IG Islamabad further directed that the FM radio platform should be effectively utilized for traffic awareness, public guidance, promotion of road safety principles, and highlighting the positive image of the police. Additionally, emphasis was placed on organizing structured programs in educational institutions to raise awareness among students about traffic laws, responsible citizenship, and safe driving.IG Islamabad expressed his commitment to further improving the traffic system and public services in the capital through modern, citizen-friendly, and effective policing aligned with contemporary requirements.
