ISLAMABAD, Sep 08 (NNI): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Thursday submitted to the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) a list of 1800 people including Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen who used the KP government helicopter without paying.
The list submitted by NAB consisted of 1800 defaulters who used the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) helicopter but did not pay for it.
According to the list, Imran used the chopper 137 times without paying any reimbursement for it. Former finance minister Ishtiaq Urmar used it 52 times and minister Atif Khan 34 times.
The list had names of important personalities like Asad Qaiser, Ali Amin Gandapur, provincial minister Ishtiaq Urmar, former provincial minister Siraj ul Haq, Khawaja Asif, ex-wife of Imran Khan, Reham Khan, Shafqat Mehmood, Zulfi Bukhari, Abrar-ul-Haq and former IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Durrani.
Other than the politicians, the list also had the names of journalists Arshad Sharif, Fereeha Idrees, DR Shahid Masood and Javed Chaudhry.
The accountability bureau sent the list of defaulters to the PAC and recommended the recovery of money from them.
On receiving the list, the PAC chairman PAC Noor Alam Khan sarcastically said that the passengers of the KP government helicopter are nowadays travelling in Punjab government helicopters.
