ISLAMABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan has taken another initiative in order to increase the professional capabilities of the Islamabad Capital Police officials. Islamabad Police training school has been given the status of Capital Police College.
According to the details, Police Training school Islamabad is upgraded as Capital Police college for which formal notification has been issued. In this training College courses from initial recruit course to advanced DSP level will be conducted.
The establishment of the college will save huge fees which were paid by Islamabad capital police to other police training institutions for the training expense of their officials, which were an additional burden on the financial budget of the police.
It will also prove to be an important milestone in increasing the professional skills and efficiency of the officers and jawans.
Rather than paying training expenses this amount will be used in making public policing more better and effective. DIG Law and Order as Commandant Capital Police Training College and SSP Law and Order, will perform his duties as Deputy Commandant. NNI
