LAHORE, Sep 19 (NNI): Punjab Assembly on Monday passed a resolution against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on constitutional violation of making consultancy with an absconder Nawaz Sharif.
The resolution against the PM was moved by Punjab Minister for Law Raja Basharat.
It has been said in the resolution that PM Shahbaz Sharif consulted Mian Nawaz Sharif on sensitive national issues despite the fact that the Constitution of Pakistan prohibits the PM from consulting an irrelevant person on sensitive national issues.
During the Monday session, the PA also passed a resolution against Federal Minister Javed Latif for his speech against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
As per the report of the channel, the resolution also demanded action against Javed Latif, Maryam Aurangzeb and the Managing Director (MD) of Pakistan Television (PTV).
On Monday, the PA session started with a delay of two hours and seven minutes under the chairmanship of Speaker Sabatin Khan.
Provincial Interior Minister Hashim Dogar answered the queries of the colleagues during Question Hour and informed them that the damaged cameras of Safe City will be fixed in three months.
