Six Criminals arrested for drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Capital police Bani Gala police team has arrested six outlaws involved in drug peddling and possessing illegal weapons and recovered drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a police public relations officer said.
He said that DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had ordered all zonal officers to curb the crime in their respective areas and arrest those involved in criminal activities and looting innocent people.
Following these directives, a Bani Gala police team under the supervision of SHO Bani Gala used all available resources and arrested six accused namely Kamran Khan, Zafar Mehmood, Ikram Ullah, Kaswar Ali, Nasir Ali and Hamad Abbas and recovered 3290 gram hashish, 1050 gram heroin, one Kalashnikov, two pistols along with ammunation from their possession.
Cases have been registered against the nabbed accused and further investigation is underway.
