ISLAMABAD: Following the special directives of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the personnel of the Islamabad Capital Police Counter-Terrorism Department were sent to the Anti-Terrorism Training Center Simly to further enhance their professional skills and capabilities.
According to the details, a ceremony was held at CTD complex in honor of the officials of Islamabad capital police counter-terrorism department who have completed their Anti-Terrorist course training. SP CTD Operation Tahir Khan attended the ceremony as Chief Guest,
During the training, the officials received training in physical training, weapon handling, rescuing hostages, controlling armed elements, maintaining law and order situation.
Islamabad Capital Police officials got 2nd position in firing and 3rd position for overall best performance during the course. SP CTD felicitated the trainees and distributed certificates of appreciation. -NNI
