Punjab Assembly passes Minister’s Allowance Bill 2022

LAHORE, Oct 18 (NNI): The Minister’s Salary Allowance Bill 2022 Tuesday was passed in the Punjab Assembly by a majority vote.
The Punjab Minister Bill 2022 was presented by Member of the Punjab Assembly Musarrat Jamshed Cheema
The laws for approval of the bill were suspended although, the Punjab government had the bill passed by majority vote in the House.
The opposition greatly opposed the approval of the bill but the Punjab government however had it passed.
The bill regarding the privileges given to the ministers was passed in its old state as it was during the PMLN regime. The PML-N had passed a bill to reduce the perks given to the ministers.
