ISLAMABAD: On the instructions of the Chairman Capital Development Authority Captain (R) Muhammad Usman Younis, Enforcement Department and Building Control North Directorate carried out operation on Wednesday in sector E-11 against unauthorized buildings.
As a result of these operation, many buildings were sealed and unauthorized constructions were also demolished. 6 trucks of equipment were also confiscated.
According to the details, Chairman CDA Captain (R) Muhammad Usman Younis in a high-level meeting issued instructions to launch a special campaign against unauthorized buildings in Islamabad.
Acting upon directions of Chairman comprehensive operation has been started against the violations of Islamabad Building Control Regulation-2020 and the construction of buildings without permission.
ICT officers and Islamabad police also provided assistance in this operation.
As a result of this operation, several buildings built in Sector E-11 were not only sealed, but the ongoing constructions were also demolished with the help of heavy machinery, while 3 trucks of equipment were also confiscated from the spot.
Moreover, in F-10 Markaz, a comprehensive action was taken against encroachments, during which dozens of stalls on the sides of the road, public passages and footpaths were removed and 2 trucks of the encroachment material were also confiscated. On this occasion, Chairman CDA Captain (R) Muhammad Usman Younis said that the purpose of these actions is to ensure the implementation of CDA rules in Islamabad and to bring under the jurisdiction of building rules so that unauthorized constructions couod not be carried out.
