RAWALPINDI: On June 5, 2023, a firefight broke out between Pakistani troops and terrorists in the Ladha area of South Waziristan District, ISPR said in a statement. The Pakistani soldiers effectively engaged the location of the terrorists. However, during the intense exchange of fire, Lance Naik Muhammad Sabir, a 30-year-old soldier from District Mansehra, fought valiantly but tragically lost his life.

The area is currently being sanitized to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorists. The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their determination to eradicate the menace of terrorism, and the sacrifices made by brave soldiers like Lance Naik Muhammad Sabir only strengthen their resolve.
