27th Annual General Meeting of Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC) Held

Islamabad (Staff Reporter) CDA’s anti-encroachment operation is going on in full swing. In this regard, the Enforcement Directorate with the support of other departments on Tuesday conducted a mega operation against the long-established illegal Afghan settlement near Nast University Sector I-12 in which hundreds of rooms and several buildings were destroyed using heavy machinery. Cattle sheds were demolished. As a result of this operation, 450 kanals of land were cleared and handed over to the development sector so that the development work can be accelerated. In the same way, while carrying out strong actions against encroachment on Smalley Dam Road and Murree Road adjacent to Bahara Kahu, dozens of additional sheds and fruit piles were cleared on both sides of the road and the public passages were cleared and 6 truckloads of goods were seized by the government. Meanwhile, for violation of building by-laws, Building Control North sealed dozens of buildings on Potohar Avenue and issued notices to the owners.
