Editor Report

Islamabad :Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday inaugurated the Online Women Police Station and the 1Info mobile application during his visit to Islamabad’s Safe City Headquarters—an important move toward modernizing law enforcement through technology and enhancing public safety. The newly launched Online Women Police Station is specifically designed to handle complaints from women and is staffed entirely by female personnel. These include call operators, first responders, and investigation officers, all operating the 1815 helpline. The 1Info mobile application allows citizens to lodge emergency complaints directly through their smartphones, making it easier and faster to reach law enforcement. Minister Naqvi commended Islamabad Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ali Nasir Rizvi and his team for rolling out these citizen-friendly services.
