ISLAMABAD:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif replied to US President Joe Biden, he says that Pakistan’s nuclear assets are completely safe.
In his latest message on the social networking site Twitter, he said that I want to reiterate clearly that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state.
He said that our nuclear assets are fully protected as per IEA standards.
The Prime Minister said that we take security measures for nuclear assets very seriously so that there is no room for any doubt.
Apart from this, Shahbaz Sharif, in his statement issued from the Prime Minister’s House, strongly rejected the American President’s statement as misleading.
He says that the last decades are proof that Pakistan is a very responsible nuclear state, the nuclear program is managed by a foolproof command and control system. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan has always played a responsible role regarding nuclear weapons, and Pakistan has fulfilled its commitments to international standards, including the IAEA. He said that the world peace is threatened by certain states violating prevailing values, extremist nationalism and human rights violations. The Prime Minister says that the real threat to the peace of the world is from the arms race between the nuclear countries, the threat to the peace of the world is from the countries where there were accidents on nuclear security.
He said that peace is threatened by these alliances which are affecting the regional balance. Pakistan and America have a history of cooperation based on friendship and mutual interest.
The world is suffering from problems, so unnecessary statements should be avoided.
