MINGORA, Oct 20 (NNI): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IGP Moazzam Jah Ansari has said that the firing on a school van in Swat was not terrorism, but an honour-killing incident.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that driver Hussain Ahmed was killed by his brother-in-law. “A culprit has been arrested while two are fleeing. After the incident, an attempt was made to deteriorate the condition of Swat,” he added.
The IGP said that the protest was staged fearing terrorism. “Political leaders were leading the protest. We will not allow anyone to deteriorate the conditions,” he added.
He said that the fleeing accused will be arrested through Interpol. NNI
