ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahnawaz Ranjha has moved the Secretariat police against the PTI for an attack on him outside the Election Commission of Pakistan.
Shahnawaz Ranjha submitted an application making for register a case against PTI leadership and workers.
He wrote in the application: “I am a member of the National Assembly and appeared as a plaintiff in the Tosha Khana case. “In the case, the verdict was against Imran Khan. As soon as I came out of the Election Commission, I was attacked by the PTI members who were standing outside.
“They attacked my car and tried to get in by smashing the glasses. The murderous attack on me took place at the behest of Imran Khan.”
The ECP declared former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan disqualified in the Tosha Khana reference.
The four-member ECP bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja announced its verdict on Friday at ECP Secretariat in Islamabad . The decision which was made last month by the five-member ECP bench was unanimous.
