PS Abpara police apprehended 280 accused during the last four months

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad capital police PS Abpara arrested 280 outlaws including 25 proclaimed offenders and court absconders, involved in a series of criminal activities during the last four months, a Police Public Relations Officer said.
He said that, the PS Abpara police teams also recovered looted items worth Rs 40.12 million including mobile phones, cash, vehicles, motorcycles and also recovered drugs, liquor and weapons from their possession.
According to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, DIG Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had assigned special tasks to the zonal SP’s and Police teams to arrest those involved in heinous crime and recover the looted items.
While sharing the performance of Aabpara police for the last four month, SP City said that the PS Abpara police teams conducted a massive crackdown against the criminal elements and succeeded in apprehending 280 criminals during the last four months. Police teams also recovered vehicles, motorbikes, mobile phones, hashish, heroin, Ice, and weapons with ammunition from their possession.
