ISLAMABAD: In an effort to assess the services provided by the Excise and Taxation Department, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad, Irfan Nawaz Memon paid a visit to ETO office. During his visit, the Deputy Commissioner personally examined the services offered by the department and interacted with the vehicle owners present at various counters in the ETO office.
The purpose of the visit was to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the services being provided by the Excise and Taxation Department. DC took the opportunity to inquire about the services directly from the vehicle owners who were availing themselves of the department’s services.
The Deputy Commissioner’s visit was well received by the public, and they expressed their satisfaction with the services provided by the department. They appreciated the initiative taken by ICT administration to assess the services and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
In response to the positive feedback from the public, Deputy Commissioner also gave directives to further improve the services provided by the department. He emphasized the importance of enhancing the quality of services and ensuring a better experience for the public.
Director Excise, Me.Bilal Azam earlier briefed the DC on on services being offered to general public. The director told the Deputy Commissioner that people are being benefited not only in ETO offices but in markets and at their door step.
