TAXILA: Former federal minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party leader Ghulam Sarwar Khan raises question over the credibility of February 8 general elections adding that the mandate of the voters was disrespected. He was addressing press conference at local party secretariat in Taxila on Thursday. Former member national assembly Mansoor Hayat Khan, former member Punjab assembly Ammar Sadeeq Khan and candidate of IPP from PP-13 Malik Azmat Mehmood were also present on this occasion. He said that election result was managed is written on the wall and eye opener that how elections engineered in the country. Responding a question, he wished that assembly may complete its constitutional term so that the economic and financial challenges faced by nation would be dealt accordingly and masses would get relief in the prices of utilities, daily kitchen items and POL prices. Responding another question, he said that the victory of independent candidates contested general election under the umbrella of PTI, is the victory of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and people have given him vote. He extended his support to those opponent candidates who need form 45 of various polling stations. Responding another question, he ruled out leaving politics adding that his family is serving public from last four decades and his services are not bound to any public nod or ministry.
