Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, continues to prioritize the health welfare of police employees and their families, as part of these ongoing efforts, IG Punjab has issued an additional 2 million rupees as medical grant for the treatment of employees and their families serving in various districts, including Lahore.

According to details, sub-inspector Abdul Kabir Shah from Rawalpindi was given 500,000 rupees for cancer treatment. Traffic Assistant Zafar Iqbal from Okara received 390,000 rupees for leg surgery. Sub-Inspector Ijaz Ahmed Khan from Khanewal was provided with 300,000 rupees for major surgery. Constable driver Muhammad Ramzan from Lahore Police received 200,000 rupees for his wife’s cancer treatment, while Head Constable Ali Akbar from Lahore Police was given 200,000 rupees for major surgery procedure. Sub-Inspector Nadeem Ahmad from PTS Farooqabad received 200,000 rupees for open-heart surgery, and Constable Zil Hussain Akbar from Rawalpindi was given 200,000 rupees for eye and jaw treatment. These funds were released after scrutiny and approval by the welfare branch. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that best health welfare of police employees and their families is a top priority, and full cooperation for the health welfare of the force will continue from income received from welfare resources.
