Two killed, three injured in police check-post ambush in Khyber

KHYBER Two persons including a police personnel were killed and three people were injured in a terrorist attack in Khyber.According to district police officer Salim Abbas, terrorists ambushed a police check-post near Landi Kotal bazaar on Pak-Afghan road, leaving sub-inspector Aaalm Zaib and passerby dead on the spot while injuring three people.He informed that a heavy contingent of police arrived on the site after receiving the news of the attack on the check-post and issued a high alert, whereas terrorists fled the scene.The injured were taken to nearby Landi Kotal Hospital from where they were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar.
