Lahore:Another officer of Punjab Police has made the name of Pakistan shine at the international level by winning international honour in policing services. International Association of Women Police honoured Punjab Police SSP Riffat Bukhari with the Excellence in Performance Award at the 61st annual conference held in Chicago, USA. SSP Riffat Bukhari is currently serving in Punjab Safe Cities Authority.Spokesman of Punjab Police said that this award is given every year to a highly competent woman police officer from all over the world in recognition of extraordinary services to her society, SSP Riffat Bukhari was honoured for her valuable services in the protection of women, Artificial Intelligence System, Awarded for developing intelligent traffic management and road safety mechanism. International Association of Women Police President Debra Friedel presented the award to SSP Riffat Bukhari. IG Punjab Dr Usman Anwar and MD Safe Cities Authority Ahsan Younas congratulated SSP Riffat Bukhari. IG Punjab said that the recognition of SSP Riffat Bukhari is a source of pride for all police officers, especially women officers.
