Lahore:Inspector General of Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar is ensuring the best welfare families of brave police martyrs, As part of this initiative, IG Punjab has handed over a house worth 1.75 crore rupees to the family of martyred Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arshad. According to the spokesperson of Punjab Police, the house has been purchased in the private housing scheme (Bahria Orchard, Raiwind Road Lahore) as per the family’s preference. Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arshad embraced martyrdom in April this year, and his family consists of his wife and three sons.On the special efforts of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Government released funds for the martyr’s family’s house. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, while paying tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arshad, said that he laid down his life in the line of duty without any concern for his own safety. IG Punjab added that Punjab Police will never forget the sacrifices of its brave martyrs, and regular measures will continue for the relief of families of its martyrs. Dr. Usman Anwar shared that the police force is the custodian of over 1,650 brave martyrs like Sub-Inspector Muhammad Arshad.
