Lahore: In a major initiative to raise awareness about diabetes and provide free treatment, a one-day diabetes screening camp will be organized at the Pakistan Air Force Officers Housing Society Club, Falcon Complex, Gulberg III, Lahore, on Saturday, December 21. The camp aims to offer free diabetes awareness sessions and screening tests for local residents.The camp will run from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, where citizens will have access to expert consultations, the best diabetes treatment options, and free medications. Renowned doctors specializing in diabetes care will provide valuable guidance and advice to attendees.The event is being organized in collaboration with the Primary Care Diabetes Association Lahore Chapter, Pakistan Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Koon, and the Air Force Housing Society Club Falcon Complex. Senior doctors including Dr. Abdul Rauf, Dr. Altaf A. Cheema, Dr. Mohammad Manzoor Janjua, and Dr. Tahir Rasool will be present to offer consultations and share essential information.In addition to the screening and consultations, the camp will focus on educating the public about preventive measures to control the growing diabetes epidemic. A special Q&A session will also be held, where senior physicians will provide insights on lifestyle changes and preventive strategies to avoid diabetes.This initiative aims to help citizens manage their health better and combat the increasing prevalence of diabetes in the community.
